Empowering the Next Generation of Accounting Professionals
Welcome to the digital home of the Central University Accounting Students' Association (CUASA). A platform created to help accounting students learn better, access opportunities, connect with one another, and prepare for the world of accounting and finance.
Accounting has a language of its own. Learn it one term at a time.
Term: Accrual
Simple meaning:An expense or income recognised even though the related cash has not yet been paid or received.
Why it matters:Accruals are fundamental to preparing financial statements under the accrual basis of accounting.
One platform. Endless possibilities.
From your first accounting lecture to your first internship, your first professional qualification, and eventually your first career opportunity, CUASA aims to be part of the journey. We want students to understand accounting, apply it, live it, and become professionals who make an impact.
CUASA exists to create an environment where accounting students can thrive academically, professionally, and personally. We believe the university experience should prepare students not only to pass examinations, but also to understand the profession they are preparing to enter.
